How It Works
GMT works with our clients to develop facilities that meet their financial and process flow objectives. Once the facility is designed we provide our clients with all the components needed to effectively deliver and control air into your composting piles. This can include aeration components such as blowers, ducting, aeration pipes, pressure traps, electrical/mechanical rooms and more. To keep construction simple and accurate components come with detailed drawings and assembly instructions.
Your Needs
COST EFFECTIVE
Concrete aeration beams can be installed into asphalt working surfaces, significantly reducing construction costs when compared to concrete. We minimize the use of expensive stainless ducting, bringing piping below grade quickly transitioning to cost effective PVC and HDPE.
DURABLE
With systems still operating 30 years after installation, we are proud to offer solutions that are proven to stand the test of time
EASY TO OPERATE
As operators ourselves we know what does and doesn’t work. All our aeration systems are easy to clean, minimize clogging, and work effectively in positive, negative or reversing airflow

"In 2014, Dirt Hugger was forced to relocate and had to start from scratch on a new site. We hired GMT to guide us through the permitting, design and construction of the project. We knew we wanted to use below grade aeration on a concrete pad and we had to get it done right. GMT had the experience with air pad design and their expertise was essential in getting the pad aeration and drainage to work properly. The pad worked great so last year we hired them back to design an expansion pad to more than double our production capacity. We highly recommend GMT covering the range of technical, interpersonal and financial aspects of a working relationship.”
