PFAS Free Compost Covers
Our compost covers are PFAS, PFOS, and PTFE free, helping to control emissions without compromising our environment. Both the geomembrane and fleece covers can be applied over windrows or piles with simple rolling systems that attach to tractors, bucket loaders or windrow turners.
Compost Cover Use Cases
In our experience, the best way to compost in heavily regulated or high density areas is to place the composting process within a structure and treat the exhaust air in a biofilter. However, in certain situations a fabric compost cover system is practical.

Fleece covers are extremely affordable and offer great moisture management and moderate odor control while helping maintain heat in the compost.
The Fleece covers are made of UV-stabilized polypropylene fabric which is permeable to water vapor and air while simultaneously being repellent to rain. The Fleece system is an affordable solution that offers great moisture control and moderate odor-control in most circumstances.
Geomembrane
Geomembrane covers offer the same benefits of Fleece covers, along with unparalleled odor control. They are impermeable to rain and moisture, meaning odors cannot escape the windrows regardless of how much air is being moved through the material by an ASP system.
They are made up of three-layer laminates consisting of an inner membrane embedded between two supporting layers for mechanical stabilization and enable VOC emissions blocking effect. When used correctly, they can Reduce odor by up to 95%.
