Client’s Requirements
New Organic Solutions Inc. is a not-for-profit community composting organization based in Appleton, WI, which specializes in producing premium compost and worm castings. They gather past-prime produce from nearby businesses and community collaborators, transforming it into nutrient-rich soil amendments that promote robust plant growth. In addition, the organization places a strong emphasis on educating their customers about sustainability and the significance of soil health. As such, New Organic Solutions made the decision that they wanted to be able to provide not only a composting solution for their own business, but also for the community by investing in small scale infrastructure to allow them to accept food scraps and organic waste generated by the community to use as feedstocks in their premium compost recipe. They needed a completely enclosed, odor-free composting facility that could be installed and operated indoors in their warehouse. This forward-thinking approach aligns with New Organic Solutions' overarching mission, fostering sustainable practices and promoting environmental stewardship within the community.
