Aspen is a Technical Project Consultant at Green Mountain Technologies, bringing 5+ years of compost operations expertise to compost design solutions. She holds an M.S. in Crop and Soil Science from the University of Georgia, where her research revolved around what else but compost. A previous Master Gardener, she’s currently working on a  Certificate in Native Plants so she can spout even more fun plant and soil trivia.

Outside the compost site, you’ll find her traveling anywhere and everywhere for music (the furthest being Bulgaria), relentlessly hoping this year is the year she actually gets to ski again, practicing yoga, trail running around Chattanooga, avidly participating in the 7th Inning Stretch at her local baseball stadium (go Lookouts!), and spending every other minute with her rescue dog, Aardvark. 

Fun Fact: Aspen is working on visiting all MLB stadiums and is at 14 out of 30!
