GMT installed a single MAC’s controller for Aerated Static Pile (ASP) composting source separated food waste from the remote community of Gustavus, Alaska. The composting operation is managed and operated by the recycling center adjacent to the landfill. Source separated organics are brought to the landfill by citizens and the material is mixed with ground wood waste and fishery waste and composted for 4-6 months.
